The Heart of Pullman

People Helping People (PHP) is a Christ-centered non-profit dedicated to serving the Pullman, Michigan community.
Born from a recognition of local needs in 2005 and formally established in 2010,
PHP strives to be a welcoming resource that meets daily needs and equips individuals
to reach their God-given potential. Their mission is to show the hope found in a relationship with Jesus
by helping people with their daily needs and empowering them to flourish.

PHP’s vision is to create a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered destination where individuals are valued,
needs are met, and opportunities for worship, living, working, learning, playing, and thriving are abundant.
This includes strengthening connections within the broader Pullman community. Serving a rural area where many families face
significant challenges, including poverty, limited access to resources, and unstable living conditions,
PHP provides a crucial anchor of support. By offering a warm, safe environment, regular meals, and various programs,
PHP helps children and families move beyond daily survival to grow and thrive.

Kids' Food Basket

Kids' Food Basket is a Michigan-based nonprofit dedicated to attacking childhood hunger and increasing access to healthy food for children and families. Their core belief is that food is a right, not a privilege. They primarily achieve this through their "Sack Supper" program, providing nutritious evening meals to thousands of children in West Michigan across Kent, Muskegon, Ottawa, and Allegan counties. Beyond direct food provision, Kids' Food Basket also engages in sustainable farming, community food distribution, and educational programming, all while mobilizing volunteers and community partners to break down systemic barriers to food insecurity and foster long-term food equity.

Did you know that every child who attends our Linking Center has their very own cubby with their photo on it? It’s a special place for them to store their belongings while they’re here, but even more than that, it’s a reminder that they are seen, loved, and valued. We love our Linking Center children and are so grateful to create a space where they can feel safe, cared for, and at home. 💛#phppullman #pullmanmi #peoplehelpingpeoplepullman #linkingcenter #youthprogram See MoreSee Less
